Hybrid Learners Hands-On at Lords Park! ¡Aprendices híbridos prácticos en Lords Park!

  We are so excited to see students in our classrooms, even if they are at a distance from each other. Last week, second grade Dual Language students investigated solids, liquids, and gases. Ms. Garcia's students were learning about changes of state. As you can see, there were plenty of smiles behind the masks!  Estamos muy emocionados de ver a los estudiantes en nuestras aulas, incluso si están a distancia unos de otros. La semana pasada, los estudiantes de segundo grado de Lenguaje Dual investigaron sólidos, líquidos y gases. Los estudiantes de la Sra. García estaban aprendiendo sobre los cambios de estado. Como puede ver, ¡había muchas sonrisas detrás de las máscaras!

 ¡Feliz año nuevo! / Happy New Year! Welcome Back, Lords Park Lions! Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a safe, healthy, and restful break with family and/or loved ones. For many of us, we were not able to participate in normal winter break activities including, visiting with our entire families or friends in-person. This has been especially challenging since many have been minimizing large group contact since last March. The prospect of the new year reminds us of the importance of hope, resilience, and a renewed commitment to caring for ourselves and others.  Hope that community-wide health conditions continue to improve and that we can steadily begin to enter the end of the global health pandemic. We look to hope for our school community as it heals from the traumas of the pandemic. Resiliency as we collectively overcome obstacles, innovating through hybrid in-person and distance learning while persevering through the second half of the school year. Care for ourselves and other
